Istonish’s VirtualCARE service monitors and manages your networks, automates routine tasks and fixes desktops and servers — all done remotely and easily from Istonish’s Network Operations Center in Denver, CO.  VirtualCARE service utilizes N-central as our core operations technology, which is the #1-rated IT automation and managed services solution for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market.

 

As a hosted subscription-based service, VirtualCARE saves you time and money by driving greater efficiencies in your IT services delivery.  The IT services supported by VirtualCare can be in a virtualized environment, physical environment or combination of both environments.

Mission-Critical Virtual Functionality
Unparalleled in the industry, Istonish offers a feature-rich service to deliver the core functionality and expertise required for IT automation and the effective delivery of critical IT services.  Our service supports either a virtualized and/or physical IT environment.

Remote Monitoring
VirtualCARE can monitor the availability and performance of virtually any IP-enabled device, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, copiers and routers. VirtualCARE uses software agents and probes to gather all critical data and build an inventory of devices on your network.

Remote Management
Istonish’s expert technicians use N-central to carry out routine tasks, such as applying patches, defrags and software updates on your devices, so you have more time to focus on more important issues.
With N-central, Istonish service technicians can:

  • Take control of devices in three different modes: attended unmanaged, attended managed and unattended
  • Remotely patch and automatically distribute software and scripts to remote PCs and servers
  • Provide asset and license management for PCs and other devices
  • Use the embedded Remote Support Manager tool to troubleshoot and resolve issues on remote desktops and servers, without disrupting users
  • Leverage the functionality in Intel® vPro™-based PCs to give you greater system visibility and manageability regardless of OS or power state


Green FootprintGreen IT is gaining momentum and making its way into mainstream IT as a valuable benefit.  With the advent of Intel’s vPro technology, which enables service providers to remotely turn on and shut down systems, and integration with managed services platforms including N-Central which is the core technology of Istonish’s VirtualCARE Service , Istonish is helping clients reduce energy consumption and costs.  

Business Performance Reporting

Available as an optional component of our on-premises service model, N-compass is an offline business reporting solution that is seamlessly integrated and synchronized with N-central. It leverages the data collected by N-central to create reports that reflect the impact that VirtualCARE service is having on your IT infrastructure and overall business performance.

N-compass allows Istonish to:

N-compass Architecture
The design of N-compass is based on an offline data warehouse. This warehouse is a uniquely designed database optimized for reporting performance and ease of report development.

Leveraging the power of Microsoft SQL Server and the Microsoft Reporting Services Engine, N-compass provides a simple-to-use reporting user interface that is seamlessly accessed from within N-central. This allows any N-central user to access N-compass reporting without requiring additional credentials.
