A
Automatic Call Distributor (ACD) – ACD is a system that distributes incoming calls to a specific group of terminals. Istonish offers ACD as part of our Managed Infrastructure Support Services.
Asset Management – Asset management is part of the Istonish Green IT service that safely recycles and disposes electronic equipment through our partner CloudBlue.
Asset Recovery – Asset recovery is part of the Istonish Green IT service that allows customers to maximize the financial value of their electronic equipment through refurbishing and remarketing old equipment through our partner CloudBlue.
Automated Customer Contact Solutions – Automated Customer Contact Solutions is an Istonish service offering that enables customers, prospects and employees to phone into your offices or into a remote call center for real-time interaction with the system using a combination of voice input, touch-tone input, and menu-driven scripts. Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Voice Recognition Unit and natural speech technologies include password reset, speech self-service capabilities, and classic IVR service.

Carbon Footprint - A carbon footprint is a measure of the impact our activities have on the environment, and in particular climate change. It relates to the amount of greenhouse gases produced in our day-to-day lives through burning fossil fuels for electricity, heating and transportation etc.
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) - Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a greenhouse gas that enters the atmosphere through the burning of fossil fuels (oil, natural gas and coal), solid waste, trees and wood products and also as a result of other chemical reactions (e.g., manufacture of cement).

Desk Side Support – Part of Istonish’s Managed Infrastructure Support Services offering, we provide both remote and on-site desk side support. Our highly professional technicians can troubleshoot problems with software applications, operation systems, printers and network connectivity for both physical and virtual desktops.
Desktop Virtualization – Desktop virtualization is the ability to host desktop images on server systems and deliver the desktop image to thin clients or standard desktop systems. This solution enables you to centralize resources and improve desktop management, while providing a secure access and application delivery mechanism. With Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), the entire desktop environment, including operating systems, applications and configurations, reside on virtual servers such as VMware ESX, Virtual Iron, or Microsoft Virtual Server.
Distributed Power Management (DPM) – DPM is part of the virtual server technology offered by VMware, which monitors utilization across the datacenter and intelligently powers off unneeded physical servers without impacting applications and users.

Electronic Products Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) - EPEAT is a system to help purchasers in the public and private sectors evaluate, compare and select desktop computers, notebooks and monitors based on their environmental attributes.

Standard Industrial Classification System (SICS) - The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) was originally developed in the 1930's to classify establishments by the type of activity in which they are primarily engaged and to promote the comparability of establishment data describing various facets of the U.S. economy. SICS was replaced by NAICS in 1997.
Storage Area Network (SAN) - A SAN is a dedicated network used to connect all the storage resources connected to various servers.
Storage Virtualization – Storage virtualization “pools” physical storage from multiple network storage devices into what appears to be a single storage device that is managed from a central console.
