ISTONISH RECEIVES STATE OF TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION RESOURCES (DIR) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STAFF AUGMENTATION CONTRACT SERVICES AWARD
Istonish to Provide IT Staff to State and Local Government Agencies
August 1, 2008, Denver, CO – Istonish, a leading IT staffing, managed services and consulting company based in Denver, received the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) Services award, effective June 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009.
Texas DIR is a state agency that manages the approved IT vendor list for IT products and services used by Texas state agencies, public institutions of higher education, public school districts and other local government entities. In addition, state and local government entities from other states are able to purchase information technology products and services through DIR cooperative contracts.
To qualify for inclusion on the DIR vendor list, companies must complete a rigorous application and selection process, proving their qualifications, experience and performance, provide customer references and offer competitive pricing.

The DIR ITSAC contract allows vendors to bid on various solicitations without having to negotiate contracts, which saves significant time and money. As a DIR approved vendor, Istonish can market its IT staffing services directly to all eligible entities which includes over 5,000 potential customers.
Approved vendors are evaluated at the end of a one year period and contracts can be renewed for up to one year at a time. The DIR conducts routine assessments of vendor performance and will promote or demote a vendor based on strict evaluation criteria, including the successful placement of candidates, the quality of candidates presented and interviewed, customer satisfaction, compliance with contractual standards and the number of opportunities to which the vendor responds.
