CEO on board at sipa
Denver, CO – Istonish, Inc. is pleased to announce that CEO, Annette Quintana, has been appointed by Colorado Governor Bill Ritter to serve on the SIPA board of directors. The Statewide Internet Portal Authority (SIPA) serves as the oversight body of the Colorado.gov portal, which is intended to be Colorado’s single most comprehensive delivery channel for eGoverment services.
The Colorado.gov portal allows citizens to easily navigate to the information they are seeking through a single point of access. The portal is being designed with the input of citizens and with the participation of local government and state agencies.
“Governor Ritter has a very progressive vision for the use of technology at the State of Colorado and I see the portal as one of the ways to support this vision. It is also great to see that the State already has an excellent portal and there are so many additional ways that State services can be delivered via this channel,” said Annette.
The portal was formed in 2004 when the Colorado State Legislature created an independent authority (SIPA) to build a statewide internet portal. It is SIPA’s mission to provide efficient and effective services for citizens through the use of modern business practices and innovative technology solutions.
“I am very optimistic about the opportunity to use my background as a manager of a technology services company and an entrepreneur to support the Governor’s vision and the SIPA operation” said Annette. She continued, “I am excited to be a part of an emerging trend in State Government via my involvement on the SIPA board.”
